Welcome to our website. I take my job as a representative of the people very seriously. That’s why we put this site together: to better serve you. Here you will find information about me, what I believe in, my vision for Virginia, how to contact me and - if you are inclined - help support our efforts to serve you. For me, there are three key things I think about as I consider legislation. When I look at public policy I ask myself, “Is this good for families?” Why? Because families are the cornerstone of our society. Second, I ask “Is this good for small businesses?” Why? Because small businesses are the engine behind economic opportunity, job creation, and prosperity for all of us. Finally, I ask myself, “Is it Constitutional?” We are a land of laws focused on preserving individual liberty within a free enterprise system. I have sworn an oath to the Constitution and I will always uphold it. So enjoy your time here, learn about me and do not hesitate to contact me if you need any assistance. I can be reached at (804) 698-1031 or by email at SLingamfelter@ScottforVA.com. I look forward to hearing from you! Scott
